By far the best and only redeeming part of this course is the clubhouse and bar. The greens are atrocious and bunkers are completely unplayable. It’s a bummer because the layout is nice. It’s ridiculous to cost $60+ a round for a course in this condition.

Take a guess what their priority was this past Saturday, while the FedEx Championship was going on the same day. They hosted an Elvis lookalike contest. Meanwhile, I played that same day and the “fairway” was up to my ankles, completely indistinguishable from the actual rough. Just so happened to pass the “grounds crew” too, three guys, one riding mower, and a couple of weed whackers. I’ve seen kids in my neighborhood with a better lawn care setup than a course charging $65 a round for the worst conditions in town. And don’t even get me started on the bunkers. Whoever built these must’ve been picturing the beaches of Normandy, because they are CONCRETE ROCK SOLID. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I live in Arlington and play here very often. The gentlemen that run this course are great people and we consistently have a good time at this course. Great local, hometown feel. Wish they’d bring sky dog to their beer offering!

Basically one of the worst courses around. Rundown, sand covered up w weeds and tall grass. Robert the head of the course is arrogant and proud about it. Zero customer service skills. His staff has common sense. Clearly does not get it from him. Just head to other places, you will get a lot more for the money and time you spend.

Greens have literal craters in them from dead patches/disease and the bunkers are a joke - there’s no sand only weeds and caked dirt, so we just considered them ‘unplayable lie’… Also I know this is a budget muni course but it cost double the amount to walk 9 holes than Links of Galloway, which is in much better shape. Won’t be back. It’s a shame since it’s the closest golf course to Arlington.
